MEET tHE OWNER
Hey my name is Alex! I am a photographer, world traveler, skateboarder and outdoor lover. I am also the owner and operator of Wilder Outdoor Spaces, a boutique design and build construction company based out of Tacoma, Washington. Since I was kid I've always loved being outside, drawing and building things with my hands from skateboard ramps to birdhouses for mother. In total, I've been working in the construction industry for over 15 years, designing, building and renovating just about anything imaginable inside and outside of the home, as well purchasing, remodeling and maintaining our own homes and rental properties. In early 2017, I returned home from a couple of months of traveling Vietnam via scooter with my lovely lady Laura Anderson. Inspired by our experiences and ready for something new, I left my safe construction career in Seattle, and founded my own company right here in my hometown Tacoma. It’s been a wild few years since we started, and I’ve learned a LOT. I’m extremely thankful for all of the rad projects we’ve been able to build and all of the wonderful people we’ve been able to work with.

Wilder Outdoor Spaces is a local Tacoma construction company specializing in outdoor modern design. We are a fully licensed, bonded and insured general contractor based right here in North Tacoma. Our mission first and foremost is to enjoy life, and while we’re at it we might as well build beautiful things we love for people we love to work with. Our network of builders can design and build just about everything outdoors.

TRUST THE MATERIALS
Materials make or break a project. Going cheap may save money money up front, but it often cost more money down the road. That's why we recommend building every job with the best available materials for our clients budget. For example, most Tacoma fence companies use cheap, low quality, pressure treated lumber for their fence framing and post installations. In comparison, all of our fences are built with quality tight knot cedar from top to bottom, including the fence posts. Sure, that means our fences cost a little more, but they last longer and look WAY better. To us it's always quality over quantity. We want to build things we can stand behind, that stand the test of time.
